Refunds
Refund policy
How cancelling and refunds work for Release Tracker Pro. Last updated: .
In short
- The free plan and the 30-day trial cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
- If you subscribe to Pro and it is not for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and you get all of it back.
- You can cancel at any time. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
14-day money-back guarantee
When you start a Pro subscription, you can ask for a full refund of the first payment during the first 14 days. We do not ask why, although we like to hear what was missing. This applies to the first payment of a subscription, on either the monthly or the annual billing.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the link in your order receipt, which opens the page where Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, lets you manage it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you already paid for after the first 14 days, and Pro keeps working until that period ends.
If you cannot find the link, write to billing@release-tracker.com and we will help.
Renewals
We understand that a renewal can be a surprise. If you were charged for a renewal you did not mean to keep, ask within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it.
How to ask for a refund
Write to billing@release-tracker.com with the order number (it is on your receipt) and the email you used to buy. We reply as soon as we can.
The money goes back to the payment method you used. How long it takes to appear is up to your bank or card issuer, and commonly takes a few business days.
What happens to your license
After a refund the license is deactivated and the Pro features lock. The free dashboard keeps working, and your configuration stays in your browser, where you can export it at any time.
Payments and taxes
Lemon Squeezy processes the payments as our merchant of record, and it also collects the taxes. When we refund a payment, the taxes on it are refunded too. Your receipt and the details of the charge come from them.
Problems with a payment
If something is wrong with a charge, please write to us first: it is usually faster than a dispute with your bank. See also the terms of use.
